Article from TAT News.org, Bangkok, 11 August 2021: Miss Poland 2011 publicly shares her memorable ‘Samui Plus’ holiday experience

Those interested in properties for sale in Koh Samui will be pleased to hear that the Thai government’s ‘Samui Plus’ programme is proving to be successful, especially with celebrities such as Miss Poland 2011.

“The Prague office of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recently invited Ms. Marcelina Zawadzka to visit the city.
Ms. Marcelina Zawadzka, Miss Poland 2011 and famous Polish TV presenter and model, to participate in the “Samui Plus Influencer Familiarisation Trip” from 19 July to 3 August 2021.

The trip was organised to promote and publicise the “Samui Plus” programme, which was launched on 15 July 2021 to reopen the destination to tourism and which allows fully vaccinated foreign tourists from 69 countries approved by the Thai COVID-19 Situation Administration Centre – including Poland – to visit Samui, Ko Pha-ngan and Ko Tao under specific conditions.

During her stay in Ko Samui and Ko Pha-ngan, Ms Zawadzka, a popular personality in Poland with over 600,000 followers on Instagram (Marcelina_zawadzka), posted a number of photos, video clips and messages describing the memorable experience she and the other members of the trip enjoyed.

In one of these posts, Ms Zawadzka said: “For anyone thinking of coming here, you should know that Thailand is paradise. It has probably never been so peaceful. I love being here not only for its beauty, but also because we can contribute to helping local businesses.”

Zawadzka also shared her experience during her first seven-night stay at Fair House Villas & Spa, one of several Samui Extra Plus hotels. It is a truly amazing resort located on the beach, overlooking the sunset and Ko Pha-ngan. All Samui Extra Plus hotels are recognised by the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs for processing by the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate General of the Certificate of Entry (COE) application, specifically under the Samui Plus programme.

Samui Plus travellers may choose to spend the remaining 7 nights at a SHA Plus hotel in either Ko Samui, Ko Pha-ngan or Ko Tao to complete their first 14 nights before travelling to other destinations in Thailand. They can also stay in the Samui Plus arrangement for less than 14 nights and then leave Samui for another country.

Ms Zawadzka’s Instagram posts have allowed her admiring fans to see first-hand the variety of wonderful experiences that can be had in Samui and Ko Pha-ngan, such as Thai massages, yoga, ceramic painting, cycling, making art from coconut stems, and of course the world-famous Thai hospitality that welcomes all visitors.

Several Polish online media also publicised Ms Zawadzka’s “Samui Plus” trip, raising the awareness level of Thailand.”
