The popular Air Asia airline is banking on domestic tourism to revitalize its offer, in particular in the royal beach resort of Hua Hin. On August 7, two new routes opened : Chiang Mai – Hua Hin and Udon Thani – Hua Hin. These flights are direct and thus avoid a connection in Bangkok.
These flights operate on Saturdays and Sundays, enough to spend a good weekend with the family at a lower cost in Hua Hin. Often described as a good haven for expats and Thais, the city is peaceful, far from the hustle and bustle of the big cities.
This allows residents of northern regions to go on weekends or on vacation by the beach, previously made difficult by long and rare land links during COVID period. In addition to benefiting from attractive prices on flights, domestic tourists are currently enjoying very good prices for Hua Hin rental properties.
